Burnt Out Mule is not VAT registered, and no VAT is charged on orders.
Products and personalisation
We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately. Natural materials such as wood, slate or leather-effect products may vary in colour, grain, texture or engraving appearance. Screen colours and image previews may also vary.
Customers must review all personalisation details before ordering. Names, dates, spelling, capitalisation and other wording are produced using the information submitted with the order. Image quality can affect the engraving result, and we may contact you if a supplied file is unsuitable.
We may refuse content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, is threatening or hateful, or is otherwise inappropriate for production.
Permission to use submitted material
By submitting text, an image, logo or design, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it for the requested product. You grant Burnt Out Mule the limited permission necessary to review, edit for production and reproduce that material solely to fulfil the order and provide related support.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro on product pages. Delivery charges and the total payable are shown before purchase. Burnt Out Mule is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added or charged.
Payment is taken through the payment methods offered at checkout. An order is not accepted until payment is authorised and we confirm or begin processing the order. We may cancel and refund an order if a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing error or the order cannot reasonably be produced.
Production and delivery
Most orders are produced within three working days, although complex, large or unclear orders may take longer. Delivery details and charges are set out on the Delivery Information page.
We are not responsible for delays caused by an incorrect address, delayed customer response or events outside our reasonable control. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Order changes and cancellation
Contact info@burntoutmule.com immediately if an order needs to be changed or cancelled. Requests can be accepted only before production begins.
The usual online cooling-off right may not apply to goods made to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised. Details are set out in the Returns, Refunds and Cancellations policy.
Faulty goods and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described or not produced as agreed, contact us so that an appropriate remedy can be arranged in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
Website and intellectual property
The website's branding, original text, photographs and designs belong to Burnt Out Mule or their respective owners. They may not be copied or commercially reused without permission, except where the law allows.
Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Complaints
Please email info@burntoutmule.com with the order number and a clear description of the issue. We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Irish law. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available to them under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
The terms applying to an order are those in effect when the order is placed. We may update these website terms for future orders.
